If you are looking for a downhill bike that won't break the bank but has proven itself under some of the fastest riders in the world, look no further than the Aurum. The newest iteration of the Vancouver designed Norco Aurum was built upon 27.5 wheels, which at this point have replaced the 26 inch standard, and with good reason. They allow the bike to float over brake bumps instead of falling into them, letting the ample 200mm of suspension do what it was intended for: soaking up roots, rocks and drops. A lower price does not mean a lack of quality; smartly designed features include an integrated seat clamp, fork bumpers, and downtube protector. Norco offers a number of build options for both carbon and alloy frames, giving us our most affordable downhill bike as well as a race-day optimized speed machine.
