Fanatik Handbuilt E512 / Hydra Classic 29" 12x157 Superboost Rear Wheel - Scratch and Dent

This wheel was installed and removed from a customer's bike. It had a tire mounted with sealant installed so there is a small amount of sealant residue on the sidewalls.

Hand-built by Fanatik's professional wheel builders, all of our hand-built wheels are assembled with double butted spokes and brass nipples using Linseed Oil, which helps the wheels stay true. Our wheels are shipped in a custom wheel box, insuring they will arrive to you safe-and-sound.

Wide tires and the most demanding trails: enduro rims are made for the rough stuff. While withstanding these requirements, from the economic 533d to the high end EX 471, they are light enough to master any climb. The sleeved E 512 offers all this at a very attractive price point.

Hydra Classic
Building upon a long legacy of reliable hubs, Industry Nine evolves once again with the Hydra - an all new series of hubs that replaces the successful Torch series. Most impressively, the Hydra rear hub boasts a seemingly impossible 690 points of engagement - that's one click for every 0.52° rotation. Industry Nine was already ahead of the pack with their Torch Classic hub at 120 points of engagement - Chris King has 72. Hydra has almost 600% more than previous gen Torch hubs; let there be zero doubt in your mind that there isn't any with a more satisfying hum. While the Torch Classic sounded reminiscent of a dozen hornets following you, the Hydra is more like an entire hornets nest on your tail, and they are angry!

This wheel will need a valve stem installed to be tubeless ready.
