This shock is only compatible with frames that use Trunnion mount rear shocks.

The Float X2 is Fox's big-hit air damper, designed from the ground-up for the enduro/gravity crowd. The Float X2 gets some updates for 2018, including a revised oil flow that improves damping control and consistency. Seals have also been improved for reduced stiction. The X2 offers separately adjustable high/low speed compression and high/low speed rebound via a recirculating high flow oil damper. The Extra Volume (EVOL) air sleeve significantly reduces the force to initiate travel, providing added sensitivity and better small bump compliance. The progressiveness of the spring curve can be adjusted via air volume spacers, allowing riders to fine-tune the feel of the air spring.

The X2 employs a 2-position lever, which effectively allows you to easily change between open and firm compression settings. The switch affects both high and low speed compression. In the firm setting, the shock will be much stiffer, better for climbing. Naturally, the open setting will be best for descending.

Please note, mounting hardware is sold separately. You may view mounting hardware by clicking the Accessories tab on this page.
