Ibis Ripley AF Frame
The Ibis Ripley AF is Ibis’ beloved, category-defying, short-travel, singletrack-scorching Ripley—rendered in aluminum. All the sizzle and pop of the carbon Ripley is now available as a bike at a more wallet friendly price.
This bike is a multi-talented shapeshifter; a light, snappy, fast, fun, incredibly versatile bike that can get a whole heckuvalot more rad than its 120mm travel and light weight implies. Compatible with a 120mm to 140mm fork, the Ripley can be a lightweight cross-country weapon or a trail-thrashing downcountry machine, depending on the component spec you choose. The Ripley's light weight and progressive design all add up to a bike that is exceptionally snappy to ride. Call your new Ripley a “trail scalpel,” because that’s what it is. And making it out of aluminum only broadens the Ripley’s already broad appeal. It still rips like a Ripley. But it also costs a whole lot less than the carbon version, and is, well, more metal.
