Whether you're visiting from out of state, exploring Bellingham for the day, or looking to test out your next dream bike, we've got you covered with a fleet of dialed, drool-worthy demo bikes.

If you decide to purchase a complete bike of the same model within one year of your rental, we’ll credit the cost of your demo—up to three rental days—toward the price of your new bike.

Minimum 24-Hour Rentals

Charged per bike, per 24-hour period—no half days. Late returns will be charged late fees.

Bike Purchase Credit

Rent up to 3 days and apply that toward buying the same model.

Helmet Not Included

Bring your own or purchase one at pickup.

Card Hold Required

A credit card will be held during your rental. You’re responsible for crash-related damage or broken parts.

No Lift Access or Shuttling

Rental bikes are not permitted at lift-access bike parks or for shuttling.

18+ to Rent

You must be at least 18 to rent. Minors can ride with a parent or guardian’s consent.

Reservation Highlights

  • A helmet (not included with rental). We have affordable helmets available for purchase.
  • Valid photo ID and credit card for security hold.
  • Appropriate riding gear (gloves, shoes, etc.)
  • Water bottle or hydration pack. We have many options of both available for purchase.
  • Rental includes either flat or clipless pedals (Shimano SPD or Crank Brothers)
  • All bikes are set up tubeless
  • Brake orientation is standard: Left = Front / Right = Rear. This cannot be changed.
  • Rentals are charged per 24-hour period, per bike.
  • No partial-day or hourly rentals.
  • A credit card is held on file and released after the bike is returned and inspected.
  • You’re responsible for crash-related damage or missing parts. Charges may be applied without further notice.
  • Cancel 24+ hours in advance for a full refund.
  • Within 24 hours: $20 setup and service fee per bike.
  • Late returns will incur additional rental fees.
  • Full payment is due at time of booking.

Booking & Reservations

We recommend booking at least 24 hours in advance to guarantee a bike. We can often accommodate same-day rentals, so feel free to call or stop by. Same-day rentals depend on bike and staff availability and are not always guaranteed.

Yes. Email us at reservations@fanatikbike.com with your request, and we’ll confirm if your desired dates and bike are available.

We offer full refunds for cancellations made at least 24 hours in advance. For cancellations within 24 hours, a $20 setup and service fee per bike will apply.

Yes, multi-day rentals are available. Just select your desired dates when booking.

No. Rentals are charged per bike, per 24-hour period. We do not offer half-day or hourly rates.

Yes. You must be 18 or older to rent a bike. Minors can ride a rental bike, but a parent or legal guardian must sign the rental agreement.

A credit card is held on file during your rental period and will be released once the bike is returned and inspected. Fanatik reserves the right to charge the card for any loss or damage without further notice.

Bike and Gear Info

Each bike rental includes either flat or clipless pedals (Shimano SPD or Crank Brothers). You’re welcome to bring your own pedals if you prefer, and we’ll install them for you.

Yes, all rental bikes are set up tubeless.

We’re happy to help you choose the right size. Contact us with your height and riding style, and we’ll make a recommendation.

We do not rent helmets or other protective equipment. Please bring your own or plan to purchase at the shop.

All demo bikes are set up with standard brake orientation: Left lever = front brake, Right lever = rear brake. We are not able to modify this configuration.

Usage & Restrictions

Per the rental agreement, a basic wash is required before returning your bike. We have a bike wash station at the shop you’re welcome to use. A full detail isn’t necessary; just give the bike a thorough rinse to remove any heavy mud or debris.

Our rental bikes are intended for use on local trails only.

No. Lift access and shuttling are not permitted with our rental bikes.

You are responsible for any crash-related damage or broken parts that occur during your rental. All damage, regardless of cause, is chargeable at Fanatik’s discretion. We’ll inspect the bike when it’s returned and review any necessary repairs with you. Tire punctures will be repaired by Fanatik at your expense. Please refer to the rental agreement for full details.

Theft is a growing concern, and it is your responsibility to ensure the bike and all included equipment are properly secured when not in use or left unattended. In the event of loss or theft, you will be responsible for paying the full retail value of the bike and any missing equipment.

Rental Credit & Purchase Info

Yes. If you purchase a complete bike of the same model within one year of your rental, we’ll credit the cost of up to three rental days toward the purchase price. This applies only to new bike purchases and must be arranged through Fanatik.
