Service Interval
Here are our recommended service intervals to keep your components running smoothly. Regular maintenance helps extend your bike’s life and performance.
Fork Service Interval Recommendations
We recommend performing the following every 50 hours of ride time.
Lower Service
Service Procedure:
- Remove fork lowers
- Thorough cleaning of all internal and external surfaces
- Inspect bushing surfaces for damage and wear
- Inspect stanchions for damage and wear
- Install new wiper seals, foam rings (or oil seals if applicable), and travel indicator ring
- Install new oil per factory specifications
- Install new crush washers on lower nuts/bolts
- Torque lower nuts/bolts to factory specifications
Air Spring Service
Service Procedure:
- Removal of air shaft and top cap
- Thorough cleaning and inspection of stanchion tubes
- Remove and replace seals on air shaft
- Install air shaft with new grease/oil according to factory specifications
We recommend performing the following services every 75 - 100 hours of ride time, or as necessary.
Damper Bleed
*Only applicable to closed damper systems
Service Procedure:
- Lower Service
- Remove damper from CSU
- Clean and inspect all surfaces of damper body
- Inspect functionality of damper adjustments
- Drain existing fluid
- Fill with factory recommended fluid and bleed
- Inspect functionality of damper adjustments
- Install damper back into CSU
We recommend performing the following services every 200 hours of ride time, or as necessary.
Damper Overhaul
Service Procedure:
- Lower Service
- Remove damper from CSU
- Clean and inspect all surfaces of damper body
- Inspect functionality of damper adjustments
- Drain existing fluid
- Completely disassemble damper
- Install all new seals
- Reassemble damper and torque applicable components to factory specifications
- Fill with factory recommended fluid and bleed
- Inspect functionality of damper adjustments
- Install damper back into CSU
Complete Overhaul

- Damper Overhaul
Rear Shock Service Interval Recommendations
We recommend performing the following every 50 hours of ride time. Only applicable to air-sprung shocks.
Air Can Service
Service Procedure:
- Check and record air pressure, rebound settings, compression settings
- Cycle and inspect functionality of shock and adjustment knobs
- Thoroughly clean and inspect shock for wear and damage
- Remove air can from shock
- Clean and inspect all surfaces for damage and wear
- Remove and replace all applicable seals and bumpers
- Fill with new fluid or grease according to factory specifications and reassemble
- Reset to customer's air pressure, rebound, and compression settings
- Submerge shock in water to ensure there are no leaks
- Cycle and inspect functionality of shock and adjustments
We recommend performing the following services every 200 hours of ride time, or as necessary. Applicable to air and coil-spring shocks.
Complete Overhaul
Service Procedure:
- Air can service (if applicable) plus the following…
- Completely disassemble damper
- Clean and inspect all surfaces for damage and wear
- Install all new seals
- Reassemble shock and torque applicable components to factory specifications
- Fill with factory recommended fluid and bleed
- Cycle and inspect functionality of shock and adjustments
Dropper Post Service Interval Recommendations
We recommend performing the following services every 200 hours of ride time, or as necessary. Applicable to air and coil-spring shocks.
Note: Some dropper post brands like KS and OneUp require a slightly different service procedure where the internal cartridge is replaced instead of rebuilt.
