SRAM has expanded its Eagle offerings with the introduction of the NX drivetrain line. The NX groupset is the go-to for riders seeking a more affordable 1x setup, without sacrificing the technology and reliability that SRAM Eagle is known for.

Using SRAM’s DUB system, which has a 28.99mm axle diameter, these cranks can work with just about any frame on the market, as long as they are used with the corresponding DUB bottom bracket. DUB technology boasts a new oversized bearing design and better sealing against contamination, so hopefully you don’t find a tiny forest living inside your frame.

The crankset comes with a 32-tooth steel chainring, using SRAM’s X-SYNC 2 technology. This aggressive “shark fin” tooth profile improves how the load is distributed to the chain and increases chain retention. When you’re getting particularly sendy in moist conditions, this tooth profile claims to aid in shedding mud and trail debris from your chain, as well as reduce chain noise. Since this crankset is part of the Eagle family, the tooth design is created to work seamlessly with any chain in the line-up. Not only can you pair these cranks with any Eagle chain, but they will work seamlessly with any other member of the Eagle family: derailleur, shifter, and cassette.
