Five years in the making, the Oso is unlike any mountain bike you've seen from Ibis... because it's not. With the first e-mountain bike from this Santa Cruz, California company, engineer Andy Jacques-Maynes and designer Roxy Lo have once again stepped outside the box to create a ride that defies expectations while staying true to Ibis's core values. Pedal-ability, playfulness, comfort, and confidence; these are traits that have made bikes like the Ibis Ripmo some of the most beloved mountain bikes in the game, characteristics that have shown through in the Oso.

Partnering again with mountain bike suspension guru Dave Weagle, the Oso handles the 50+ pound weight of a full-power ebike with a newly oriented DW link that drives the shock from the upper mount, eliminating the shock yolk and allowing for the use of coil-sprung mountain bike suspension. And as eye-catching as this bike is, the comment we've heard the most about it is how good it rides.
