Job Overview
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Warehouse Receiving Agent to join our team. The Warehouse Receiving Agent will be responsible for accurately receiving, inspecting, and recording incoming shipments of goods into our ERP system. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining the efficiency of our business and ensuring that our inventory is properly accounted for.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in warehouse operations or receiving preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy items as needed
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with coworkers and external partners
Minimum Requirements
- Receive incoming shipments of goods and materials, verifying the accuracy of the delivery against purchase orders or manifests.
- Inspect received items for damages, defects, or discrepancies and report any issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Record and document received goods into the inventory management system, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
- Retrieve, review and confirm accuracy of vendor invoices against received goods and purchase orders, and upload documents to the accounts payable team in an orderly and timely fashion.
- Organize and label received items for proper storage and easy retrieval.
- Coordinate with other warehouse staff to ensure timely and efficient processing of incoming shipments.
- Assist in resolving any discrepancies or issues related to received shipments, including liaising with vendors or suppliers as necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized receiving area.

Pay
- $20 per hour non-exempt
