Position Overview
We're on the lookout for a seasoned bicycle mechanic to join our team this summer. Based in the vibrant town of Bellingham, this role offers an exciting opportunity to further your career in the cycling industry. Our service department is renowned for its expertise in custom bike builds, wheel builds, and suspension service.

As part of our passionate team of cyclists, your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks, including but not limited to: basic to advanced bicycle maintenance, tune-ups, and the assembly of high-end custom bikes. If you're enthusiastic about bikes and eager to contribute your skills to our dynamic team, we'd love to hear from you!

Requirements

  • Experience as a professional bicycle mechanic is required
  • Growth mindset and readiness to perform in a fast-paced, high volume environment
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong understanding of modern MTB and E-MTB components and systems
  • Proficient with suspension/dropper post service
  • Experience with wheel building is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Perform basic to advanced maintenance, repairs and tune-ups to the highest standard
  • Communicate effectively with customers and team members
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area

Employment Duration

  • March 2026 through October 2026

Schedule

  • 32-40 hours
  • Weekend availability a plus

Pay

  • $22-$25 per hour DOE
