The Maxxis Snyper is the exception to the adage, "The majority of kids' mountain bike tires are either overweight or under-gunned." The center knobs are ramped to decrease rolling resistance, but the aggressive side knobs will boost any little shredder's confidence in the turns. The Snyper uses Maxxis' lightweight SilkShield material for puncture protection from bead-to-bead.
DC stands for Dual Compound. That means two compounds are used within the tread of select tires to offer lower rolling resistance and increased cornering grip. Coupled with the bead-to-bead SilkShield these tires are unstoppable.
