Description

For deep and soft terrain, the Schwalbe Dirty Dan offers an aggressive open tread, excellent braking traction, and extremely good self-cleaning characteristics (thanks to the large stud gaps). The Dirty Dan features ADDIX Ultra Soft, puncture-resistant Apex-armed compound. A wire bead gives the Super-G version extreme lateral stability for a dynamic ride. The downhill (DH) version is especially robust with its dual-ply design. The DH TLE also comes equipped with Kevlar folding beads for easy installation and removal. 

ADDIX Ultra Soft is the ADDIX compound for hardcore use in Enduro and Downhill. Sensationally good damping has been further improved over the previous VertStar compound, while at the same retaining suitability for all-weather use. This is due to significantly improved low-temperature properties when it comes to grip and damping. Extremely soft to cope with very difficult challenges, ADDIX Ultra Soft seems to stick to the ground, literally clawing its way into the subsoil because. The Dirty Dan is the best of both worlds: maximum damping and maximum grip.
