You'll find these levers to be stiffer than their predecessors with quicker brake engagement and a shorter free stroke. This means greater flexibility and an action-focused cockpit layout. The convenience of a toolless reach adjustment shouldn't be overlooked, either. The Shimano SLX M7120 caliper features consistent braking performance and reliable stopping power in all conditions. The 4-piston caliper instills greater downhill confidence and control with quicker piston retraction and 10% greater braking power when compared to the M7000.
