Description

SRAM has expanded its Eagle offerings with the introduction of the NX drivetrain line. The NX groupset is the go-to for riders seeking a more affordable 1x setup, without sacrificing the technology and reliability that SRAM Eagle is known for.

Made of steel and aluminum, the NX derailleur is heavier than its GX brethren, but that's a trade-off most riders who are on a tighter budget are willing to take. The 14-tooth lower pulley can be used with a 10-50 or 11-50 cassette, so you can mix and match this derailleur with any cassette in the Eagle clan. That lower pulley is crafted with X-Sync technology, an aggressive tooth profile that helps keeps your chain on track.

In addition to the X-Sync lower pulley, the NX derailleur is loaded with synergistic shifting solutions. The X-Horizon design limits all movement to the horizontal axis, lessens shift force, and maintains a constant chain gap no matter what gear you’re in. Even when you’re flapping your mouth about how sendy you got on that last huck to flat, the roller bearing clutch will keep your chain from flapping and bouncing around.
