BUILT AROUND THE RIDE

The new Oso is more than a longer or shorter travel take on the same e-bike. Ibis built the chassis to adapt, with travel configurations ranging from 130mm to 165mm in the rear, compatibility with 29" and mixed-wheel setups, and modular dropouts that let you fine-tune chainstay length and wheel size.

And that versatility goes beyond travel. Size-specific geometry and suspension tuning, generous dropper insertion, and five frame sizes help keep the Oso balanced and capable across the range. Whether it's set up as a quick-handling trail bike or a gravity-focused machine, the details are designed around how each version is meant to ride.

Modular Chassis

One frame forms the foundation for all three Oso configurations. By changing the fork, shock, and clevis*, the platform can be configured for 140/130mm, 160/150mm, or 180/165mm of travel, while the modular dropout system adds further control over wheel size and chainstay length.

Ibis chose a 600Wh battery to strike a balance between range, weight, and handling, with the battery positioned low and centered in the frame. For bigger days, add the Bosch PowerMore 250 range extender for up to 850Wh of total capacity, giving the Oso extra range when you need it without carrying the weight when you don't.
