The Schwalbe Shredda radial is built as a complete front and rear tire system for maximum traction in the most demanding conditions. Designed for soft, loose, and steep terrain, it combines an aggressive tread design with Schwalbe’s radial construction to deliver exceptional control, braking power, and climbing traction.
Its radial carcass increases ground contact and allows the tire to conform more precisely to the trail, improving damping and grip under heavy loads. This creates a more planted and predictable ride feel, especially on steep descents and technical climbs where traction is critical.
The Shredda Front features deeper tread and an open pattern for maximum cornering grip and control, while the Shredda Rear uses a slightly more stable profile to improve durability, braking traction, and power transfer. Together, they form a balanced setup designed to handle the most challenging terrain with confidence.
Compared to more versatile or fast-rolling tires, the Shredda radial is focused purely on traction. It’s best suited for downhill riding, bike park use, and eMTB setups where grip and control take priority over rolling efficiency.
