Description
If you err on the side of aggressive enduro riding, rest your eyes on the M7 Mountain handlebar from ENVE Composites. This 35mm clamp-diameter carbon bar is available in 10, 25, and 40mm rise options to suit a variety of cockpit preferences and riding positions.
The M7 offers a wide, stiff platform, which equates to increased control and instant response on trail. The flex profile is finely tuned to keep from punishing your hands and arms on long, rough descents, and absorbs trail chatter in a way that only carbon can provide. With a max width of 800mm, ENVE suggests that the bar be cut no shorter than 780mm. When the width is decreased, stiffness increases, and if the bar is cut too narrow, the ride quality will be compromised.
This bar is made to be uber stiff and strong, and heavier riders might find it more suitable than aluminum alternatives. Riders in the lighter weight category, or those who prefer a less aggressive style of riding, might not find the wide bar and higher strength levels necessary.
