  • More Travel – Now available in 130mm, without a weight penalty, the new 34 SL gives you the suspension advantage to climb faster, descend harder, and recover quicker, so you can keep the hammer down.
  • Redesigned Arch and Crown – A generatively designed arch increases torsional stiffness by 17% over the previous 34 SC, while increasing tire clearance. A new 7000 series aluminum crown features increased internal machining and a black anodized finish to further reduce weight.
  • Increased Bushing Overlap – With 20% more bushing overlap than the 34 SC, the 34 SL delivers enhanced smoothness, giving riders better tracking through rough terrain, especially at higher speeds.

Description

The FOX 34 SL redefines what’s possible for modern XC and downcountry riding, delivering more stiffness, more suppleness, and more capability—all with a weight that still satisfies elite racers. Built around a full-width 34mm chassis (not Step-Cast), the 34 SL opens the door to up to 130mm of travel without compromising efficiency, making it equally at home on technical World Cup XC courses and demanding everyday trail rides.

This year the 34 SL is offered with the updated Grip X damper with a completely redesigned mid-valve piston and valve stack. Ideal for the downcountry/light trail bike of choice, the improved oil flow characteristics result in increased sensitivity, greater mid-stroke support, and improved consistency on rough terrain.

This fork features 130mm of travel, but you can change travel to 120mm or 110mm with a new air spring.
