Description

This is a chance to get a true one-of-a-kind downhill fork for a great price. The fork started off as a standard Boxxer Select take-off fork, but the lowers were replaced with Ultimate lowers. This means you are getting the Ultimate bushing upgrade, which features 53% longer bushings that further optimizes friction reduction, with the standard RC damper and Linear XL air spring.

The RockShox BoXXer Select brings World Cup-proven downhill performance to riders who demand speed, control, and confidence without the premium price tag. Built around the same platform trusted by elite racers, the latest BoXXer combines a completely redesigned air spring with the refined Charger 3.2 damper to deliver exceptional composure on everything from bike park laps to full-on race tracks.

At the heart of the fork is the new LinearXL Air Spring, engineered to provide a remarkably predictable, coil-like ride feel. Small bump sensitivity keeps the fork supple off the top, while strong mid-stroke support maintains control through rough sections and heavy compressions. A dedicated jounce bottom-out bumper adds extra end-stroke control when the biggest hits arrive, helping the fork stay composed when the trail gets chaotic.

Managing that travel is the updated Charger 3.2 RC damper, featuring revised compression and rebound tunes designed specifically around the LinearXL spring curve. The result is a quieter, more controlled ride with intuitive adjustments that make setup simple. The numbered compression dial provides clear reference points, making it easy to fine-tune performance and return to preferred settings.

To further reduce rider fatigue, BoXXer Select incorporates ButterCups technology, which filters out up to 20% of high-frequency trail chatter before it reaches your hands. Combined with low-friction SKF wiper seals and Maxima Plush suspension fluid, the fork delivers impressive traction, sensitivity, and consistency throughout long descents.
