Description

Powerful, dependable braking doesn't have to come with a premium price tag. The Shimano Deore M6220 hydraulic disc brake combines the BL-M6200 lever with the four-piston BR-M6220 caliper to deliver confident stopping power, excellent modulation, and consistent performance for aggressive trail riding, enduro, and e-MTB use.

Servo Wave technology provides quick pad engagement before ramping up braking power with less lever travel, giving you greater control on steep descents and technical terrain. Shimano's new low-viscosity mineral oil, paired with updated piston seals and heat-resistant resin pistons, keeps brake feel consistent across a wide range of temperatures, from long alpine descents to hot summer trail rides.

The rigid two-piece caliper construction improves stiffness for more precise braking, while the four-piston, dual-diameter design delivers the power and modulation needed for demanding riding. The BL-M6200 lever also features a clean hose routing design and I-SPEC EV compatibility for a tidy cockpit with expanded adjustment options.

Shipped pre-bled and ready for installation, the M6220 includes everything needed to get rolling, including the brake lever, caliper, brake hose, installed D02S-MX metal pads, and installation hardware.
