Description

The Shimano Deore RD-M7230-SGS is a rugged 11-speed LINKGLIDE rear derailleur built to thrive under the increased demands of modern trail riding and e-MTBs. Engineered for smooth shifting under load and exceptional long-term durability, it delivers reliable performance whether you're climbing steep technical trails or putting in countless miles on an electric mountain bike.

Designed around Shimano's LINKGLIDE drivetrain technology, the RD-M7230-SGS provides consistently smooth gear changes even while pedaling under heavy torque. LINKGLIDE also dramatically improves drivetrain longevity compared to traditional systems, making it an ideal choice for high-mileage riders and the increased stresses of e-bike use.

The updated SHADOW ES design features a slim, wedge-shaped profile that tucks the derailleur closer to the frame, helping it deflect rocks and trail obstacles while reducing the chance of impact damage. A wider link structure increases rigidity for more precise shifting, while the integrated chain stabilizer minimizes chain slap and improves chain retention through rough terrain.
