Description

New Take-off Maven Base brakeset off a Forbidden Dreadnought e-bike. Both brakes are sealed, but rear may need bleed or be cut to installed on your bike. 

Front brake hose is 825mm long, which was fine for 180mm 29" fork. Rear brake hose was 1525mm. 

Modern mountain bikes have redefined what riders are capable of, pushing the requirements for extreme-duty power further than ever before. Maven is the answer to that evolution, delivering boundless power and confidence for elevated speed and control on increasingly demanding terrain.

Maven Base features a DirectLink lever that translates rider input into smooth, consistent braking force. A stiff 4-bolt caliper with four 18mm pistons delivers extreme-duty power and sheds heat efficiently, ensuring that the last corner feels like the first.

With so much baseline power available, Maven offers more range than ever to tune braking feel with different pad materials and rotor sizes. The system uses Maxima Mineral Brake Oil for low-maintenance performance and is finished with a clean Blasted Black anodized look.

The Stealth lever architecture provides a modern cockpit layout, and tool-free reach adjust allows easy customization. The caliper includes a Bleeding Edge™ bleed port for quick, drip-free service.
