6069-T6 Alloy with Welded Seams

Tenet chose 6069-T6 aluminum because it is the highest-strength alloy available for making rims and is 40% stronger than 6061-T6 in fatigue loading. Additionally, Tenet opted to weld their rims instead of sleeving them to ensure the strongest joining method, with the added benefit of a simpler, more airtight tubeless setup.

Description

Introducing the Coven AL Rim, Tenet’s debut in the world of mountain bike wheels — a true reflection of engineering precision, strength, and thoughtful design. Unlike other brands that simply stamp a logo on a generic rim, Tenet crafted the Coven to outperform the competition at every turn.

Built from 6069-T6 aluminum, the Coven is 40% stronger under fatigue than standard 6061-T6 alloys, providing unmatched durability without compromising weight. Each rim features welded seams for maximum strength and an airtight tubeless-ready setup, while the hookless bead and wide sidewalls reduce pinch flats and protect against impacts.

The asymmetric rim profile balances spoke tension between the drive and non-drive sides, keeping wheels truer for longer and improving impact resilience. A slightly shallower rim profile adds vertical compliance for a smoother, more controlled ride, while ETRTO-compliant design ensures performance and reliability under the toughest conditions.

Every rim is finished with Tenet’s high-end logo treatment, polished and media-blasted for a durable, customizable look — perfect for matching your bike’s paint scheme or building a standout wheelset. And with 4D spoke drilling, 32 holes, and e-bike compatibility, the Coven AL Rim is ready for any trail or terrain.
