Description
The Transition Spur V2 is the cross-country bike that refuses to be boxed in. Now featuring 120mm of progressive rear travel paired with 130mm up front, the updated Spur blurs the line between XC race machine and aggressive downcountry trail bike. It’s lightweight and razor-sharp on climbs, yet confident and composed when the trail points down. Fast enough for race day and versatile enough for everyday trail duty, the Spur delivers pure singletrack performance without compromise.
For V2, Transition refined everything that made the original special while adding meaningful upgrades. A longer 130mm front end built around the latest Fox 34 Float SL increases confidence on modern, technical courses without adding unnecessary weight. The proven flex-stay suspension design remains, offering a highly progressive leverage curve that feels supple off the top and bottomless when pushing hard. A new geo-adjust at the lower shock mount allows riders to fine-tune head angle by 0.5° and bottom bracket height by 7mm, maintaining that perfect balance of enduro-inspired speed and XC pedaling efficiency.
Beyond suspension, the Spur V2 gains smart rider-focused details like the B.O.O.M. Box internal frame storage, fully guided internal cable routing with updated head tube ports, and hidden linkage hardware for a cleaner aesthetic and improved durability. Size-specific geometry ensures a dialed ride feel across the range, while the evolved industrial design keeps the Spur looking as fast as it rides.
