Description
The Union rim from We Are One is made for those who want to race Enduro at a high level or for aggressive trail riding. Designed for tires between 2.4-2.8" wide, it's aimed at the same user group as the brand's successful Agent rim, although it is host to a number of refinements to its carbon lay-up process that allows for even more precise fiber placement and extension.
There were 3 main points that went into The Union. We Are One wanted a rim that was lighter than The Agent, had lower radial stiffness than anything they have made before, and gain a dramatic increase in impact resistance. With their new philosophy on layup design and these key points, they were able to achieve something truly impressive. The all-new rim shape allows for reduce radial stiffness and utilizes less fiber while increasing impact strengths. The shape combined with the layup offers a more homogeneous system and provides more support to each component of the rim than before.
With these rims, what you see is what you get; there is no sanding, filing, masking, or painting. We Are One is so confident in their product that they offer a lifetime warranty on their rims. That means that if you break your rim while riding your bike, they will replace it, no questions asked (no driving over your wheel with your car!).
